This series transforms the core spirits of two major Western holidays - the "gift, redemption and rebirth" of Christmas and the "liminality, release and transformation" of Halloween - from a collective celebration into an intimate ceremony between two people. We abandon the common stereotyped symbols of festivals, delve deeply into their archetypes, light and shadow, and body metaphors, and create intimate outfits that carry profound narrative tension and aesthetic thickness.
